“THRIVING ON CHAOS” Sharon Pieters, Parenting Coach Monday January 29th - MY GYM Anaheim Hills 148 S. Fairmont Boulevard 6:30pm to 8:30pm As parents, we’ve all been down that road where you feel your children are consuming you; leaving you feeling overwhelmed, frusterated and exhausted. Sharon, originally cast on FOX’s “Nanny 911”, offers simple and effective solutions that bring order to the perceived chaos and quiet to the natural clamor of raising children. Sharon’s fundamental belief is that children thrive on boundaries & routine. We all want our children to have the best: to have it all, however she warns about the effects of overindulging them. Sharon will show you how to raise happy, independent children without the over-indulgence; the guilt and chaos. “BRAINS & BEHAVIOR: MAKING SENSE OUT OF CHILDHOOD BEHAVIOR” Ann Corwin, PhD Marriage, Family and Child Therapy This is an interactive workshop where you will learn to make sense out of childhood behaviors by understanding a child’s brain and learning to see the world through your child’s eyes. She will provide you with evidence based research on how the brain effects children’s behavior and clear up some of the misconceptions about why kids say and do the things they do. You will learn simple, logical solutions to everyday events that you can take home and implement right away. Dr. Ann believes in helping parents help themselves. |
